TELL Course Week 4 : Technology for Teaching Reading

At the fourth meeting on Monday, February 10, 2020. The time for the next group was the second group to present the syllabus they had designed about Teaching Reading and also what technology teachers could use in supporting the learning process. We can know that technology plays an important role in supporting the learning process especially Teaching Reading because there are many learning resources or learning media from the internet that can improve students' reading skills. In this syllabus they determine the object to be their learning namely English Education (Bachelor Degree) as well as the previous group.

One example of the technology they recommend in supporting Teaching Reading is a website from the internet that is Diigo, this website can be used to highlight important points of a website or article from the internet that we read, thereby helping our focus to understand what information is conveyed on the website or article, besides that we can also add some comments that we feel are important to the article by utilizing the comments feature of the Diigo website.
