Hello guys! Welcome to my English Learning Blog This post will be my first post on this blog, I think in this first post we need a little introduction about me as the author of this blog. OK, My name is Fabiyan Junino Elindika, I was born in Bukittinggi on June 20, 2000, I live in Tanjung Jabung Barat since 18 years ago, which previously I lived in Padang, and now I am one of the students at Jambi University majoring in English education. TELL Course Topic 6 : Tecnology & Teaching Grammar

Create an Online Quiz Using Kahoot!

Kahoot!  is a free game-based platform where students can participate and get a response from the teachers in real time. The Kahoot tool is like an advanced platform for learning and playing games. The platform also lets others create and launch their own games so other players can also play and explore the new games every day. The platform is used by millions of people around the world to discover, play and share a variety of games with others. It’s like a collaborative platform for learning new things on a daily basis. TELL Course Topic 5 : Technology & Teaching Vocabulary

TELL Course Topic 4 : Technology & Speaking

This is the second topic that we language through this online lecture which is about Techology and Speaking and there are several videos we have to watch to help our understanding of this material. In this video some examples of websites are given that can help students improve their speaking ability, one of which is a website that can be used to improve students' pronunciation when speaking this website is called  Youglish.com YouGlish.com  is a website that you can find on the Internet that allows students to type in something that they would like say but don’t know how to pronounce. TELL Course Topic 3 : Technology & Listening

This is our first online lecture because the Corona virus pandemic which caused face-to-face lectures must be stopped. In the first topic in this online lecture we discussed Technology and Listening with Mr. Dedy Kurniawan, to convey the material, the lecturer used an existing e-learning site  e-learning.english.unja.ac.id by giving videos from YouTube to help our understanding of the material being taught, after that there were some questions that had to be answered to find out how we understood the information conveyed through video the. TELL Course Week 8 : Create a Question using Hot Potatoes

At this eighth meeting On Monday, March 09, 2020. We were assigned to make a question or quiz using one application called Hot Potatoes.  The Hot Potatoes suite includes five applications, enabling you to create interactive multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises for the World Wide Web. Hot Potatoes is freeware, and you may use it for any purpose or project you like. It is not open-source. By using Hot Potatoes, we can make our own test online.  There are six features that can be used to create questions or quizzes with various forms in this Hot Potatoes application, including: l multiple-choice quizzes (JBC) l gap-fill exercises (JClose) l text-entry (short-answer) exercises (JQuiz) l crosswords (JCross) l jumbled-sentence/jumbled-word (drag-and-drop) exercises (JMix) l ordering/matching (drag-and-drop) exercises (JMatch ) This is one example of multiple choice questions that I made using the JQuiz
